Our longlisted competition entry for the 2024 Davidson Prize: The theme of the fourth £25,000 annual Davidson Prize was 'Rethinking Home - Adapt and Reuse'. The brief asked multi-disciplinary teams to communicate inventive solutions to address housing shortage in the context of climate change.
Our reponse considered the former explosives works and ruins located near Cliffe on the Thames Estuary, and how the existing protective land forms and remaining built structures could be repurposed to envision a new neighbourhood and living community. In collaboration with Hackney Quest and the HH&F Team.
